POSITION DUTIES:
•  Troubleshoot, test, and calibrate the DC / RF generators, amplifiers, and analog and digital impedance matching networks, regardless of the age of the product to determine reparability of product.
•  Provide daily customer support via telephone, e-mail or fax in response to technical problems or requests.
•  Prepare unit for shipping. Also update RMA database for shipping and submit final paperwork for billing.  
•  Collaborate with other service engineers and application engineers to resolve problems.
TOOLS USED:

Electrical and electronic schematics, diagrams, manuals and handbooks. Hand soldering and wiring tools. Standard electronic test equipment: Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, RF power meter, function generator, digital multimeter, current probe, RF powermeter, troubleshooting meters, burn-in loads, water cooling manifolds, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, vector impedance meter, power supplies, computerized testing equipment and PC.

SKILL REOUIREMENTS :

Completion of Jr. College or equivalent plus a degree in electronics and one year of related work experience. Must be adept at troubleshooting analog and digital circuitry to the component level. Additional training may be requested such as related to computer controlled equipment. Must work with minimal supervision. English communication capability is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively with customers with service spirit.
